What exactly is a "shared services" arrangement?
Instead of hiring your own bookkeeper, admin, and systems person, you share ours. You get a full back-office capability — people plus platforms — for a predictable monthly fee that's a fraction of the equivalent headcount.
We already have an accountant. Where does Qota fit?
Happily alongside them. Many clients keep their external CPA for sign-offs and tax opinions while we run the day-to-day books, closes, and workflows that make the CPA's job faster and cheaper.
Our books are months behind. Is that a problem?
It's normal — and usually where we start. We rebuild missing or messy records into clean, current books first, then set up the workflows that keep them that way. No judgment; it's the most common starting point we see.
Will AI be making decisions about our finances?
No. AI does the repetitive work — reading documents, matching transactions, drafting reports. Every judgment call is made or reviewed by a person on your account team, and that person is accountable for it.
Do we have to take the whole Orbis Suite?
